Ikebana Schools

There are hundreds or even thousands of different ikebana schools in Japan and in the world. Each individual school follows a particular set of rules, principles, theories, and arranging techniques. Some of the schools focus on classic styles, others are contemporary and creative. 

It is always interesting and revealing to compare similarities and differences among various schools of ikebana.
